Building Information Modeling (BIM)
Building Information Modeling (BIM) is the creation and coordination of 3-dimensional (3D) models used to simulate the construction and operation of a facility. The resulting model is a data rich, object-orientated, intelligent and parametric digital representation of a facility, from which views and data appropriate to various users’ needs can be extracted and analyzed to generate information that can be used to make decisions and improve the process of delivering the facility.
We have set a goal to become the leading BIM Contractor within small construction firms. Having the capability to incorporate BIM coordination on any given project is a great benefit to all trades involved. We have proven skills in this new technology and continue to invest in future technologies.

Extending BIM to the Field
Building Information Modeling (BIM) is now integrated into the construction process by extending the design model data to field crews via the Trimble Robotic Total Station. This workflow integration provides a significant opportunity to improve our construction techniques by improving layout processes of our mechanical systems which in turn increases productivity and accuracy.

Our BIM Manager, Johnny Shelton is a creative and technologically-savvy mechanical design professional with over 15 years of real world experience in project and information technology management and documentation. His vision of advancing BIM by bringing expert knowledge to the construction industry is directly embodied in his fantastic interest in this new technology. Shelton also has a LEED® Associated Professional Building Design and Construction certificate (LEED® AP BD+C).
